Firefighters Battle Early Morning Blaze In West Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. — Firefighters battled an early morning fire in west Raleigh Tuesday.

The fire started around 6:15 a.m. at N.C. State University's surplus warehouse on Nowell Road near the state fairgrounds.

The fire was extinguished hours later. There were no homes in immediate danger of the fire and no reports of any injuries.
