FAYETTEVILLE — Fayetteville police say a female driver who crashed into a local landmark was having a seizure at the time.
Donell Porter, 53, was driving the car when it hit the side of Fayetteville's Markethouse around 5 a.m.
Police say the car was traveling about 60 miles an hour down Person Street when it hit the side of the building.
Porter was in surgery until late Monday morning and is now in stable condition.
City inpsectors say that the damage to the building is minor.
