At least one hurt in overnight shooting near Clinton; Sampson County deputies investigating

Deputies with the Sampson County Sheriff's Office are investigating a reported shooting early Monday morning near Clinton. 

Around 12:30 a.m., the Sampson County emergency communications received a call about shots fired near Hemm Lane. Deputies arrived and found at least one person injured with gunshot wounds. It's unclear how many people are involved. 

The WRAL Breaking News Tracker was there and found the center of the investigation at a home down a dirt road. 

The investigation is ongoing.
