Rocky Mount Police are investigating three shootings from over the weekend.
The latest shooting happened around 8 a.m. Sunday morning on Shirley Leak Avenue. Rocky Mount Police said a woman shot a man after having an argument. The man was sent to the hospital. Police didn't release the severity of his injuries.

The first shooting was around 11 p.m. on Friday on East Grand Avenue. Rocky Mount police found two women with gunshot wounds. One woman was sent to the hospital and was later released. The other woman has non-life-threatening injuries and was not sent to the hospital.
The second shooting happened around 2 a.m. on Saturday on North Wesleyan Boulevard. A man suffered from a gunshot wound and was sent to the hospital, according to the Rocky Mount Police. He was later sent to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, which he is in critical condition.
Rocky Mount Police said the three shootings are not connected and their investigation into them is ongoing.
