New Red Hat Amphitheater construction marks major milestone

The final steel beam was placed on the new Red Hat Amphitheater stage on Tuesday afternoon. 

It is a significant milestone in the building of the new Red Hat Amphitheater, which is expected to be ready in time for the 2027 concert season. 

The amphitheater is being relocated one block south of its current downtown location. The new space will expand the capacity of the venue to more than 6,000 seats.
