Raleigh police searching for suspect after recovering stolen car off New Bern Avenue

Raleigh police are searching for the driver of a stolen vehicle found on New Bern Avenue and Farris Court early Wednesday morning. 

Raleigh police told WRAL News officers were recovering a stolen vehicle around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. A suspect has not been arrested. 

The WRAL Breaking News Tracker captured video of forensics investigating a tan Nissan Maxima on Farris Court. The driver’s side door was open. 

Raleigh police told WRAL News officers were not involved in a chase before the investigation.
