Man charged with murder in shooting at Raleigh apartment complex

A man was killed in a shooting Saturday night at an apartment complex in Raleigh.

According to police, officers responded to the complex on Walnut View Road around 8 p.m. near Rock Quarry and Cross Link roads. 

Tyrone Vandyke, 36, was found with a gunshot wound. Vandyke was transported to WakeMed, where he died from his injuries.

Donte Young, 42, was taken into custody at the scene and charged with murder.

Investigators said the two men knew each other and were arguing before the shooting.

An investigation is ongoing.
