Police responded Sunday to a large fight between patients at the Holly Hill Inpatient Children’s Hospital South Campus.

The incident happened at a mental health facility providing both inpatient and outpatient services, located at 201 Michael J. Smith Lane in Raleigh.

Many of the children there are involuntarily committed.

Police say that staff also got involved to break up the fight. 

No injuries were reported and no arrests made.

Holly Hill released the following statement:

"On Sunday night, Holly Hill Hospital experienced a disturbance initiated by a small group of patients. We thank the Raleigh Police Department for their swift response and ongoing partnership. All staff and patients are safe."
