Former Bush adviser Karl Rove to speak at UNC

Karl Rove, adviser to former President George W. Bush, will speak at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on Sept. 20, according to UNC College Republican Chairman Anthony Dent.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Karl Rove, adviser to former President George W. Bush, will speak at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on Sept. 20, according to UNC College Republican Chairman Anthony Dent.

He will give a lecture at 5 p.m. in Memorial Hall.

Tickets for the event may be secured at the Memorial Hall Box Office on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets are free, thanks to the co-sponsorship of the event by Young America’s Foundation, Committee for a Better Carolina, the Carolina Liberty Foundation and the Pope Center for Higher Education.

Student tickets were available starting on Aug. 24, while tickets for the general public will become available on Sept. 7.
