Obama Returns to State Thursday

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama plans a trip to the Triangle and Greenville on Thursday.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is holding a town hall meeting in the Triangle area on Thursday.

Following the town hall meeting, Obama will hold an event in Greenville Thursday evening, campaign officials said in a press release on Saturday.

No information has been released about the location of the meetings or tickets. The campaign did note that tickets for the Greenville event will be distributed across the eastern portion of the state from Wilmington to Elizabeth City.

Obama previously visited the state in March, with campaign stops in Greensboro, Fayetteville and Charlotte.
