Person shot at New Hope Church Road bus stop, police say

A person was shot Monday evening at a bus stop, Raleigh police said.

Police said it happened around 6 p.m. on New Hope Church Road near Craftsman Drive in Raleigh.

Authorities took the person to a hospital for treatment. The person’s injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said.

According to the police, officers have not made an arrest or identified a suspect.

Police said there is no threat to the community, and their investigation is ongoing.
