Morrisville woman charged in death of teen crossing Durham road

Ebony Donald faces charges of involuntary manslaughter, reckless driving and speeding connected to the death of a Durham man last week. 

Iazias Davis, 18, was hit crossing Guess Road on Nov. 13. He died later at a hospital. 

Durham police say Donald, 29, of Morrisville, was behind the wheel of the Honda Accord that hit him.

She is also charged with two counts of misdemeanor child abuse. There was a child in her car who was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, police said.
