Orange High School counselor charged with indecent liberties with students

An Orange County Schools counselor has been charged with two counts of indecent liberties with students and one count of sexual exploitation of a minor.

School administrators recently notified a school resource officer about allegations of misconduct involving Lesli Bryant and multiple students. The Orange County Sheriff's Office opened an investigation into the matter.

Bryant resigned from her position as a counselor at Orange High School on June 12. An arrest warrant notes the victims were students at Orange High. The warrant says that Bryant was communicating with two students on Snapchat, including sending nude photos and videos with sexual content as recently as April.

Bryant, who is 37 with three children and a husband, turned herself in to authorities on Thursday morning. She appeared in court on Thursday afternoon and was given a $50,000 secured bond. She was ordered to have no contact with two named witnesses in court and cannot be on Orange County Schools property.

The next court date in the case is July 20.
