One person has died after they were thrown from a car in a crash early Friday morning.
North Carolina State Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 2:23 a.m. on the US-70 Bypass near the Wake/Johnston County line.

When crews arrived, officials said two people were found lying in the road beside a pickup truck.
Troopers identified driver Luis Angel Chaidez Gonzalez, 30, and Jose Alberto Francisco-Perez, 40, as the two people involved in the crash.
After investigating, troopers said Gozalez was driving west on US-70 Bypass when he ran off of the roadway and rolled over multiple times. The truck came to rest upright in the roadway.
Both men were taken to the hospital, where Francisco-Perez later died.
Troopers believe alcohol and speed were contributing factors in the crash. Neither Gonzalez nor Francisco-Perez were wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Gozalez has been arrested and charged with felony death by motor vehicle, driving while impaired, no operator’s license, careless and reckless driving, open container violation and failure to wear a seatbelt.
