President Barack Obama has appointed Saint Augustine’s College President Dianne Boardley Suber to the Board of Advisors on Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

President Obama expressed confidence Monday in the professionals selected to serve on his Board of Advisors.

“I am proud to appoint such impressive men and women to these important roles, and I am grateful they have agreed to lend their considerable talents to this administration. I look forward to working with them in the months and years ahead," he said.

Dr. Suber is the 10th president of Saint Augustine's College and the first female to assume the presidency.
