Raleigh Wide Open 5 will offers spectators 20 hours of music from 21 bands on three stages along Fayetteville Street on Saturday, July 31.

RALEIGH, N.C.Raleigh Wide Open 5 will offers spectators 20 hours of music from 21 bands on three stages along Fayetteville Street on Saturday, July 31.

The Cherry Bounce Stage on Hargett Street will deliver six hours of indie rock from seven bands. Six bands will take the World Stage on Martin Street to shout out reggae, soul, Americana blues, country, bluegrass, funk and hip hop for 7½ hours. The Raleigh Rocks Stage on Martin Street will offer eight local bands delivering 6½ hours of music.

Raleigh Wide Open 5 launches at 11 a.m. with a parade straight-up Fayetteville Street. The downtown celebration concludes at 11 p.m. with a fireworks boomnanza.
