Plane Pull raises $125K for Special Olympics

MORRISVILLE, N.C. — The annual Plane Pull at Raleigh-Durham International Airport last month helped raise $125,000 for Special Olympics North Carolina.

Eighty teams – made up of five members – tried to pull a 30,000 pound jet the fastest. The team from the state Department of Correction pulled the jet the fastest.

The event also featured children’s activities, games, music and food.
