RALEIGH, N.C. — The Triangle paused Saturday morning to remember Raleigh police officers killed in the line of duty since 1922.

A wreath-laying ceremony took place at Nash Square in downtown Raleigh.

After the ceremony, the "Run For Our Heroes" began. This is the second year for the race. It attracted almost 900 runners. Proceeds benefit the Raleigh Police Memorial Foundation.

WRAL's Kelcey Carlson won the women's overall division.
