Raleigh, N.C. — Hundreds of people showed up for a free meal Friday at the Golden Corral on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh.
For three hours, volunteers and employees served the meal to those in need.
Golden Corral has hosted the free Christmas dinner for 32 years.
“That’s really very wonderful for Golden Corral to care for all these people,” holiday meal recipient Amobi Onuorah said.
Organizers said they typically serve the holiday meal to around 1,000 people.
