FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County's Partnership for Children's program for custodial grandparents needs help this holiday season.

They are asking people to sponsor a family on the partnership's Angel Tree. This year, the group is helping 27 families.

You can pick up an Angel Tree sponsor form in the main lobby of Omni Family Resource Center, 351 Wagoner Drive, in Fayetteville. Gifts are being collected at PFC Resource Lending Library. For more information about the program, call 910-826-3030.

The Grandparent Support Group was started in 2001 to help grandparents who were raising their grandchildren.

In August, Campground United Methodist Church provided the families with backpacks filled with school supplies.
