Goodmon Awards to be held Dec. 11

Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — Leadership Triangle, a non-profit dedicated to the prospect of regional cooperation, will present the Seventh Annual Goodmon Awards to area individuals and groups on Dec. 11 at the American Tobacco Campus.
The awards are named after James F. Goodmon, president and CEO of Capitol Broadcasting Company.
The event will feature performances by the African Children’s Choir, the Bouncing Bulldogs championship jump rope team and gospel singer Mary D. Williams.
Tickets to the gala are sold out, but a waiting list is available on the Leadership Triangle Web site.
