Durham holds community outreach fair
The fair is being held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Pavilion at Durham Central Park, located at 502 Foster Street.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — The Durham County Department of Social Services and local agencies are hosting the first Community Outreach Day on Saturday.
The goal of the fair is to connect people with local resources for which they may be eligible for and to increase enrollment in programs such as Medicaid, according to a press release from DSS.
Backpacks will be distributed to those pre-approved and notified by DSS staff.
The fair is being held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Pavilion at Durham Central Park, 502 Foster St.
