Shoppers in Fayetteville helped students get ready for the new school year.

The “Stuff the Bus” school supply drive was held Saturday at the Wal-Mart SuperCenters on Skibo and Raeford roads.

Volunteers filled four school buses with backpacks and school supplies. The supplies will be divided between Cumberland County schools and Fort Bragg Schools.

The even was sponsored by the Cumberland County Education Foundation, Communities in Schools, Operation Homefront and the Cumberland County Schools.
