Raleigh, N.C. — The Agency for Public Telecommunications in the state Department of Administration has won two international Telly Awards.
Telly Awards honor outstanding local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the best video and film productions.
“The New River: A Long and Winding Journey,” produced for the New River State Park, was awarded a Silver Telly, the highest honor for excellence. “The South Mountains: At Nature’s Crossroads” produced for South Mountains State Park, was awarded with a Bronze Telly for outstanding achievement. Both facilities are part of the state Division of State Parks and Recreation.
“This is the fourth consecutive year that APT has received Telly Awards, which recognize the consistently excellent production service our team provides,” APT Executive Director Ivy Hoffman said in a statement. “We are honored to have the opportunity to work for state and local agencies, helping them meet their video communications needs with award winning productions.”
