The show, which features artistic teapots from more than 100 artists, is held at Cedar Creek Gallery from May 16 through Sept. 14.

"It features local, regional and national artisans working in all materials," said Jennifer Dolan, curator of the show. "We've got metal, clay, glass, fiber, a little bit of everything."

More than 200 teapots will be showcased at the gallery. The teapots range from functional to sculptural in form.

"A teapot sounds easy, but there's a lot of complication trying to create those different elements of the body, the spout and the handle."

All of the teapots are for sale. Dolan says most are quickly bought up by collectors.

Prices for the featured works range from $100 to $5,000.

The teapots are also featured on the Cedar Creek Gallery's website.
