Man shot at Raleigh apartment complex on Old Plank Road

A man was shot Tuesday morning at an apartment complex in Raleigh.

At 7:42 a.m., the Raleigh Police Department responded to a shooting in the 4700 block of Old Plank Road. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot multiple times in the parking lot.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

At this time, no suspect is in custody. Officers and detectives are on scene collecting evidence and working to determine what led up to the shooting.
