A man has died Saturday night after a shooting on Knightdale Boulevard earlier that morning.
According to the Wake County Sheriff's Office, Knightdale Boulevard was shut down from Old Milburnie Road to Farm Well Road as deputies investigate the shooting.

The shooting happened just before 9 a.m. near Old Milburnie Road. When deputies arrived, they found a man, later identified as 39-year-old Corey Hansen, with a life-threatening gunshot wound. Hansen was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Footage from the WRAL Breaking News Tracker on the scene shows multiple cars were involved, but the release from WCSO did not mention if a crash was involved in the shooting investigation.
A viewer also sent WRAL News video of the incident. In the video, two men appear to be fighting in the median of Knightdale Boulevard. One of the men appeared to be holding a gun when the second man pushed him, causing both of them to fall to the ground.
Deputies have not confirmed if the shooting was the result of road rage.
WCSO said they have identified a suspect and the road was reopened, but they did not share the suspect's identity with WRAL News.
The WCSO believes this shooting is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the community. There is no additional information they could provide on this ongoing investigation.
