A loaded gun was found on a school campus on Monday in Raleigh.
According to a spokesperson from Enloe High School, school officials found a loaded gun on a student during a meeting between the student and administration.

The spokesperson said the search of the student was voluntary.
The school’s student resource officer, the Raleigh Police Department and school security investigated and confiscated the weapon.
The school said all students and staff were safe and no one was injured.
The school told WRAL News that while they were not allowed to discuss disciplinary actions against an individual student, state law requires a 365-day suspension of any student found with a gun on school grounds.
