A federal judge sentenced a man to over 16 years in federal prison after he admitted he had "perverted sexual interest in children," according to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
The SBI and both Garner and Selma police departments investigated 36-year-old Kyle Kenneth Castino after Facebook and Google flagged that one of their users had uploaded child sexual abuse material to their platforms.

The IP address linked back to Castino's home in Garner.
Garner police then found that Castino moved to Selma, prompting Selma police and SBI to execute a search warrant on his house. The search revealed child sexual abuse material on Castino's phone, thumb drive and various digital devices that were in a lockbox.
Law enforcement also discovered that Castino produced images with a child while possessing almost 385,000 images and over 3,000 videos depicting sexual abuse of children.
Law enforcement said Castino admitted that he had "perverted sexual interest in children."
Castino was sentenced to over 16 years in federal prison, followed by eight years of supervised release and $35,000 restitution for Distribution of Child Pornography.
