Interstate 440 East reopens: Truck's top struck Capital Boulevard bridge in Raleigh

All lanes of Interstate 440 East are reopened near Capital Boulevard in Raleigh.

The closure lasted about an hour as crews reopened the interstate just before 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Raleigh police said a truck driving on the interstate struck the bridge above it. Part of Capital Boulevard runs along the bridge.

Traffic cameras showed crews sweeping debris from the interstate.
