An infant was injured Tuesday in a high-speed chase and crash in Catawba County, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Around 2 p.m., troopers attempted to stop a 2016 Honda Accord for speeding on U.S. 321. WCNC reports the driver, Nazir Murice Lucky, 26, refused to pull over, initiating a pursuit.

The chase ended when the car veered off the road and hit a tree. Lucky was arrested.
Lucky and two adult passengers, along with an infant, were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officials said no one was wearing seatbelts.
Lucky faces multiple felony charges multiple charges, including reckless driving, and misdemeanor child abuse.
