Coronavirus infections, hospitalizations in NC continue to decline
— North Carolina reported 1,599 new coronavirus cases on Monday, which is the lowest one-day total since July 26. Over the weekend, fewer that 7,000 infections were reported. Statewide, 1,852 people are hospitalized with COVID-19, the fewest since Aug. 6.
