Ron Lowry, 32, of the 1200 block of Midway Road, was charged in a wreck at N.C. Highway 130 and Midway Road, on Jan. 3, 2008. His pregnant girlfriend, Toni Tenille Brooks, 32, died in the wreck, and her cousin, Keisha Locklear, 19, lost her unborn twins. Their nephew, Patrick Locklear, 17, was seriously injured.
