High-impact road closure beginning on Tuesday in Johnston County

N.C. Highway 42 in Clayton, just off U.S. Highway 70 Business at the railroad tracks, will be closed to traffic starting at 5 a.m. Tuesday. The closure is expected to last between 24-36 hours.
