Hailey received a suboccipital craniotomy for the resection of a benign cerebellar tumor called an epidermoid cyst. The cyst was aproximately the size of a tangerine. Much of the hair near the operation site has already begun to grow back, almost covering her two and a half inch scar left from the incision.
