A section of Western Boulevard and several ramps at its interchange with Interstate 440 were closed this weekend for construction, the N.C. Department of Transportation said.
NCDOT contractors closed Western Boulevard at the Beltline on Friday, May 15, starting at 8 p.m. It reopened Monday, May 18, just after 5 a.m.

- I-440 East ramp to westbound Western Boulevard

Drivers had detour options at Melbourne Road and Hillsborough Street.
