Wet roads on Thursday morning caused two crashes in Raleigh on Interstate 40 West near Airport Boulevard.
The first crash was reported after 3:30 a.m., according to the State Highway Patrol.

A BMW lost control near Exit 284 for Airport Boulevard and sideswiped a black Chevrolet Suburban, a trooper said. Minor injuries were reported.
According to SHP, speed and weather were likely factors.
Then, at 4:30 a.m., a car crashed into the BMV from the first crash. Again, minor injuries were reported, according to troopers.
Low visibility due to rain was believed to be a factor in the second crash.
I-40 has since reopened.
Multiple firefighters and emergency responders were on scene.
