Hundreds of people rallied outside the North Carolina Capitol on Monday as part of the "Workers Over Billionaires" protests this Labor Day.
Their goal, to demand workers' rights and get rid of what they’re calling the “end to the billionaire takeover of government.”

Demonstrations were also seen early Monday morning at Trinity Avenue Park in Durham. Protesters were seen marching down to Duke University’s campus.
The demonstrations were two of thousands held nationwide.
In response to the events, a White House spokesperson said, "No one has done more for the working men and women than President Trump."
