A woman shot and killed outside of a Nash County home on Lancaster Store Road has now been identified.
Tuesday Nash County Sheriff's Office were called to the home around 1:50 p.m. where they found Reina Magalybantes Castro unresponsive outside. In a news release by the sheriff's office, deputies said her injuries appeared to be the result of a shooting.

Deputies also identified Hector Aldana Moran as the man also shot along Lancaster Store Road. He was taken to WakeMed in Raleigh for treatment and is still in critical condition, deputies said.
According to the news release by the sheriff's office, Moran is a person of interest in this investigation, but charges are pending further investigation.
A Nash County deputy responding to the scene was injured in a single-vehicle crash and hit a tree along North Carolina Highway 581 near Mills Circle, the sheriff's office said.
Neighbors told WRAL, an Amazon delivery was parked in the road and the deputy swerved to avoid it.
“It happened so fast. It just jumped up in the air and he hit the tree,” said Fred Prewer, who witnessed the crash.
The deputy was also taken to WakeMed with non-life threatening injuries and is expected to be okay.
Sky 5 flew over the scene of the shooting, which showed at least a dozen law enforcement cars.
As of Tuesday evening it's not clear what the relationship is between the man and woman found shot, and who fired the shots.
