Authorities warned the public Friday morning of the escape of prisoner from Forsythe Correctional Center in Winston-Salem.

Raymond Warren, 35, was serving a five-year sentence for larceny and was not due to be released until 2028.

Warren, who is from Davidson County, is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He has multiple tattoos on his neck and face.
