Firefighters are investigating an explosion that happened at a Raleigh home on Tuesday night.
WRAL News spotted several firefighters around 10:30 p.m. at a home on Yarmouth Road.

Firefighters said they were investigating it as a possible gas explosion. When they got to the home, they noticed the lower level of the home had some windows broken out.
Firefighters later determined that a lightning strike had hit a gas line, which caused it to leak. When the homeowners turned the circuit breakers back on, firefighters say that led to the explosion.
Five people were at home at the time, but none of them were hurt and were outside by the time firefighters arrived.
Another explosion in northern Wake County
The situation on Yarmouth Road was not the only explosion firefighters in Wake County investigated.
In northern Wake County, lightning struck a propane line at a home on Southampton Drive, igniting the propane and causing an explosion. Firefighters said two people were in the home during the lightning strike and explosion made it out safely.
"We think that our house got hit by lightning through the ground," Peter Anderson, the homeowner, told WRAL News.
Anderson said he believes lightning hit a tree about 50 feet from his home, traveled under the ground and hit a propane line.
"My wife was sitting in the living room, and she said the entire living room just filled with this orange, bright light," he said. "It was extremely loud."
Anderson said they saw smoke rising from off the back deck. He said he want outside and saw what he described as a "blowtorch of flame" coming out of the house, which we believes was backed up pressure from propane.
"Realizing that it was a propane fire, I told my wife to run, and we both scrambled out the front door and got as far away from the house as we possibly could," he said.
One firefighter was checked out for minor injuries.
