Fight leads to shooting at Raleigh bus stop, leaving man injured

Raleigh police are investigating after a shooting at a Raleigh bus stop left a man injured.

On Saturday, police were called shortly before 2 p.m. for reports of a shooting on New Bern Avenue near Walmart.

Officers said the incident was a result of a fight between three men. During the fight, police said one man pulled out a gun and shot another in the leg.

The man was taken to WakeMed and is expected to be okay.

Police said they have recovered the semi-automatic handgun. Two men were taken into custody, and there is no threat to the public.

Police have not yet released the names of anyone involved.

The investigation is still ongoing.
