Police: Man arrested for spray painting swastikas in Fayetteville

Fayetteville Police Department identified and arrested a man for spray painting swastikas alongside a building on the 100 block of Reilly Road. 

Taquon Vereen was charged with two counts of damage to real property and second-degree trespassing. Vereen is currently being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $1,500 secured bond.

According to arrest warrants, police were made aware of a video circulating social media of Vereen spray-painting other properties with a swastika. 

At this time there is no indication of an ongoing threat to the public connected to these incidents.
