Fayetteville police have identified a woman who was stabbed to death and the person accused of killing her overnight.
Officers said Nadine Seeney Dove, 63, was found dead in a home on Abrams Street after she had been stabbed several times.

It comes as officers were called around 1:49 a.m. Wednesday to reports of a suspicious person on Ruby Road. When they arrived, police said they found 53-year-old Orlando Montague Pone.
Police said their interaction with Pone led officers to arrest him, and he led officers to the home where Dove was found. Officers are working to learn the relationship between Dove and Pone and the circumstances surrounding her death.
Pone is charged with first-degree murder. Authorities are holding him at the Cumberland County Detention Center without bond.
