Police respond to reported shooting near Morganton Road in Fayetteville

Police are investigating a reported shooting late Sunday night in Fayetteville. 

Fayetteville police responded to two scenes last night as they investigated a shooting reported in a neighborhood on Murray Fork Drive.

The WRAL Breaking News Tracker arrived at a nearby gas station connected to the incident just after 11 p.m. near Morganton Road and Bonanza Drive.

Officers were seen gathering evidence from a crime scene taped off at the store.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting and the individuals involved are still unclear.
