A Durham woman faces a charge of first-degree murder and a charge of attempted first-degree murder after her two children were found unresponsive at a home Thursday night.
Andrea Morgan Faust was arrested on Friday morning.

Police found the two small children around 5:26 p.m. in a home on Chartwell Court. One of them died at the hospital, and the other remained there Friday.
Durham police said the second child is still in the hospital. WRAL News is working to learn his condition.
Police have not named the children who were removed from the home or said what type of injuries they suffered.
A neighbor, who told WRAL News that she had known Faust for 14 years, called her "the sweetest woman."
“I could not believe it was Andrea‘s house or Andrea," said Charlene Montford, Faust's neighbor.
Montford described Faust as a good neighbor and said she loved her children. She told WRAL News after Faust had her second child, she noticed she became more stressed.
"She was no longer working. She was staying home with both of the boys. There were health challenges with the boys. I think that took a toll on her."
Durham city and county law enforcement officers were present around the home through Thursday night, collecting evidence and towing an SUV that was outside of the home.
