A man is dead after a shooting in Durham on Thursday afternoon.

Police were called to the 2500 block of South Roxboro Street just after 3 p.m.

There, they found a man had been shot.

That man later died at the hospital.

Police did not release the man's name, age or description.

It was the third shooting in the Bull City in 24 hours. A 13-year-old boy was injured in a drive-by shooting Wednesday night on Rosedale Avenue. And a man died on East Umstead Street after having been shot late Wednesday.

Police have not announced any arrests in either of those shootings.
