A Durham man accused of more than 20 years of sex crimes is behind bars.
On Tuesday, Durham police said 61-year-old Kenneth Nathaniel McNeil was indicted on Dec. 15, 2025, for multiple sex charges, including:

- nine counts of statutory rape/sex offense of a 13-, 14- and 15-year-old
- three counts of indecent liberties with a child
- one count of attempted rape
- two counts of rape
Officers said he is also charged with two counts of first-degree exploitation of a minor on Oct. 30.
Officers said the alleged crimes happened over 26 years, between 1999 and 2025, and involved several teenage victims.
