Raleigh police said a shootout on Tuesday in the parking lot of a Food Lion on Creedmoor Road in north Raleigh left one person injured.
On Tuesday, police responded to a shooting call just before 10:30 a.m. at the parking lot at 5633 Creedmoor Road, where they found shell casings and a discarded weapon.

Witnesses told police that the shooting happened between two groups in separate vehicles: a Ford F-150 truck and a Nissan Rogue. Police said there was a dispute, and shots were fired from both vehicles at one another.
A short time later, the truck was involved in an accident at the intersection of Millbrook and Winthrop Roads — less than a mile from the Food Lion. The truck is believed to have been involved in the shootout.
Police said 21-year-old Jalen Watson, who was driving the truck, walked into a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Watson was charged Wednesday with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to sell and deliver.
Police said he had an outstanding warrant for two counts of possession of marijuana with intent to sell and deliver.
Police said the other driver in the Millbrook crash was not seriously injured.
The other vehicle involved in the shootout and its occupants are still at-large. Police did not provide details about the suspects other than they were believed to be driving in the Nissan Rogue.
On Tuesday, WRAL News spoke with Gerrit Hansen, who heard the shooting.
"I [heard] at least three to four [gunshots]," Hansen said. "It definitely sounded like an event, in rapid succession. It was a really quick thing."
