Five cars involved in crash on Poole Road near I-440 in Wake County

Five cars were involved in a crash Tuesday evening on Poole Road near Interstate 440, Raleigh police said.

Police said two people had injuries that are not life-threatening.

Crews towed two cars from the scene, according to the police.

The Wake County Sheriff’s Office said someone driving a Honda Accord did not stop at a traffic stop. After a brief chase with deputies, the driver lost control and crashed.

Charges are pending.
